Westfield Montgomery Mall, Bethesda, Maryland

First Impressions Matter
We arrived at the Westfield Montgomery Mall a little after 1pm.
Our appointment was for 330 pm so we had a little time to waste.
Be prepared for the traffic if you are not used to the traffic of bigger cities.
The mall itself had a lot of stores and a clean atmosphere.
We were able to do some window shopping to waste time.
Dream Aero is located on the third floor of the mall beside the AMC theater.
Even though it was my first time there it was easy to find.
This is also conveniently located above the food court.
Which has plenty of selections.
After grabbing some refreshments, it was about time for our appointment.
We were definitely excited!
The Experience: What’s Inside?
The flight simulator is a full motion simulator.
It looks like a dome on stilts.
After signing in and filling out some paperwork, it was finally time to take flight!
We met our Captain, and we were led up the stairs to the cockpit.
Watch your step!
My Frau was the pilot on this experience!
The Captain gave us an overview of the controls.
Forgive me for not remembering his name but he was excellent!
And we were off to the runway.
We were able to pick our destinations like Frankfurt Am Main.
The cockpit is amazing! An exact replica.
The controls and the visuals really make you feel like you are piloting your own 737!
You can even pick your weather conditions, day, or night flights.
You can also pick attractions like flying over the Eiffel Tower or the Golden Gate Bridge!
At the end of our flight, we took some pictures and really didn't want to leave.
In all we spent a total of an hour flight time.
We received our flight certificate and thanked the Captain for a great experience.
Pros:
Excellent staff and instructions
Received a certificate at the end
Video of the experience available for purchase
Unique and memorable experience
Cons:
None, I genuinely enjoyed the experience
Value for Money
I purchased the 1-hour flight Short Haul option.
For me this made sense considering our drive to Maryland and our experience.
We were able to select multiple locations and takeoffs and landings.
I spent approximately $480 usd. This price will cover up to 3 people.
I also purchased the optional video at the end of our experience.
I personally think it was worth it for a unique experience
Conclusion
Great memorable and unique experience.
Some may consider this a bit pricey, but you can save some dollars through the weekdays.
Great for birthdays, anniversaries, date night, and special occasions.
I would definitely do this again!
