My Journey as a Nurse

Hello, I am the founder and creator of The Fox Chronicles, Corey --- and I have been a nurse for over 20 years.

My path in healthcare began as a Clinical Associate, transitioned into a Licensed practical nurse (LPN), and late a Registered Nurse (BSN RN).

Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure to work in telemetry, long term care, and psychiatric nursing.

Working in each field, has increased my knowledge, compassion, adaptability, and the importance of self-care.

From Military Service to Mission Work

Before starting my nursing career, I proudly served as a member and veteran of the United States Armed Forces.

The discipline, teamwork, and resilience I learned in the military continues to guide my approach to patient care---and life itself.

In 2018, I was fortunate to be able to take part in Project Starfish Haiti!

A mission trip that renewed my love for nursing!

It was truly eye opening to be able to help others across borders---a reminder that compassion is universal.

The Birth of The Fox Chronicles

Over the years of caring for others, I also realized the importance of caring for myself also.

You have to be able to find the balance beyond the hospital and clinical setting.

That's what inspired me to start The Fox Chronicles.

A creative outlet---a way to share stories, tips, and experiences about travel, lifestyle, food, and nursing.

Finding the perfect balance between work, life, and adventure, while encouraging others to the same.
